Who we are
This policy covers EdgeOps, an internal operations and reporting application operated by Edge Racing Fuels, Inc., 3209 Clawson Rd, Austin, Texas. Questions and requests: support@edgeracingfuels.com.
Who uses EdgeOps
EdgeOps is a private application. Only people authorized by Edge Racing Fuels, Inc. can sign in, currently the business owner and one other authorized member of the business. It is not offered to the public or to other companies.
What information it processes
- Sign-in identity (email address) and each user's role.
- Records read from our own QuickBooks Online company after an administrator connects it through Intuit's authorization process: customers, vendors, products and services, invoices, payments, deposits, credits, bills, accounts and related source identifiers.
- Supporting documents that authorized users upload, and internal review notes and decisions.
QuickBooks records and uploaded documents can include names, business and contact details, addresses, check or remittance references, amounts and free-text notes.
How it is used
To keep an accurate copy of our accounting records, explain and reconcile them, prepare internal reports, review discrepancies, preserve evidence, and support recovery and audit history. EdgeOps reads QuickBooks data. It does not initiate payments, move money or change QuickBooks financial transactions.
Service providers
Cloudflare provides hosting, sign-in protection, database and file storage. Intuit supplies the connected QuickBooks data. We do not sell information or share it for advertising.
Security
Access requires sign-in through Cloudflare Access and a role check. QuickBooks authorization tokens are stored encrypted on the server, and all traffic uses HTTPS. These measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee against every security incident.
Retention and removal
We keep information while Edge Racing Fuels uses EdgeOps and for seven years afterward for accounting and tax records. We handle removal requests sent to support@edgeracingfuels.com within 30 days, except for records the law requires us to keep. Backups expire on their own schedule. Disconnecting QuickBooks stops new reads but does not by itself erase records already saved.
Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
